Went to see Qutub Minar , too my horror I hv to pay Rs. 250 for my wife who is a Malaysian and mother of three Indian children. Why it is so ? When the foreigners of SAARC nations and Thailand citizens are allowed to pay same price as Indians but foreign wifes of an Indian citizen have to pay price as foreign tourist.
Same goes at Taj where I paid Rs. 750 as entry fee for my wife.
This is a country where foreign wife of a person is leading the oldest political party in country and every one wanted her to become PM of the nation.

Dear prakash, entry fee for foreigners is high due to difference in INR and their currency.. Lankans, nepalies and even pakistanies, who are not recognized as foreighners, are charged Indian rates only.. πŸ™‚

      Dear Mr. H S Negi ,
If our govt is allowing even pakistani,s to pay as Indian. Then what wrong with foreign spouse of Indians who are forced to pay same as foreigners. Mrs. Sonia Gandhi is one such foreign spouse of Indian. These foreign spouse are also holder of PIO card. Which allows then all rights equal to Indians except voting.
